TMX to JSON

Tiled can save maps as XML (.tmx) or JSON (.tmj). Ase2Game Tile Map Tools reads both in the browser. Converting is done in Tiled itself — we help you inspect the result.

Export JSON from Tiled

1. Open your .tmx map in Tiled
2. Use File → Export As and choose JSON map files
3. Export or save tilesets as .tsj when using external tilesets
4. Drop the JSON project into Ase2Game Tile Map Tools to verify layers and assets

• Cleaner diffs in version control
• Easier consumption by custom tools and pipelines
• Consistent pairing with .tsj tilesets
